I dunno, last two times I’ve driven to Idaho the route was just full of cars. I don’t know where else they’d be going. It’d be an interesting study, though. Most of my friends are Mormon and we do a lot of stuff together and have a good time. I’ve had good professors and I’ve joined a couple of clubs. Which are great. I know, you’re right. Some of my friends said as much before I committed to USU. I just thought that people were being dramatic before I moved here. It thought for sure that a state school far removed from the BYU/Provo ring of influence. Would have been considerably less tricky (and it is in a lot of ways). But it’s still a wild experience.

I’m not a crazy partier or anything either, but I do like to just have fun beyond “risking” a cup of coffee or giggling at a swear word. It has just been hard to get past the LDS barrier. This is such an in-depth post and I really liked reading through it. USU sub doesn’t have a lot of activity. As an ex-mo, I can see how 90% of your negative points are about being LDS. There are more non-Mormons than you think. There are hordes attending institute to get married in 2 months, but other than that you just have to network. Branch out and be social, you would be surprised by how many nonmormons there are. Then it’s really a nice shirt for all men and women. So you should buy this shirt.
