Looks like Arcana Rising and Lizard Wizard will both go down to the wire. Both games look great from the actual gameplay. However, both campaign “stretch goals” have been pretty underwhelming for deluxe versions/reasons to get now as Nice Alaska Is Calling And I Must Go Shirt versions. I personally think using 3 stretch goals for the outer box alone is a bit….suspect. I think what appears to be missing is the traditional Kickstarter “value”. Root included a whole extra expansion, CMON throws in a shovelful of extra plastic, some campaigns just give a chunk off MSRP, but none of that is apparent here. Perhaps Queen will announce an MSRP of $80 or something, but if we don’t know, we can’t perceive the value. I’m not complaining that I’m being downvoted or claim that I don’t buy foreign goods from countries with less than stellar reputations.

I am saying that whoever is downvoting someone else for saying a reason why a game costs more is because of ethics is a pos. The person explained the reason. Giving money to the Chinese government is worse than giving it to a European government because of their human rights abuses, but giving money to Chinese workers doesn’t seem better or worse than giving money to European workers. Right, the shift of global manufacturing to China has been a boon in many ways to the average Chinese worker. But they also have their situations like Foxconn with everyone basically locked into dorms and forced to work for peanuts to the point that they had to install suicide nets. So the west has worker abuses but they have nothing on some Chinese companies. Ok.
