Obviously we’re only going to be there for 3 days so don’t need heaps of activities to keep us entertained. Gdansk itself is a nice historical city and old Hanseatic port with plenty of interesting old buildings, etc. Gdynia is next door is more busy/bustling, I think there’s still a theme park there, an old tall ship. And an old WWII destroyer to tour, a nice marina and aquarium – that kind of stuff.

Sopot is the beachside resort, has a big beach with apparently the longest pier in Europe, a casino – it’s got a kind of faded old glam seaside resort charm to it. But with kite surfing. And the booze and food are all cheap (and good). I thought it was decent. I went to see Malbork Castle, an easy train ride away. Gdansk has a very good WW2 museum. I only stayed one night but didn’t really feel as though I needed longer. Quite a few strip clubs but I was wary, maybe unfairly. Don’t know about the rest of the Tri-City area. Assume you’ve looked at Krakow? That’s where people rave about most of the Polish cities.

I’ll be going with my sister who’s over from Australia so strip clubs are probably off the Nice Gdansk June 2 4 Mystic Festival 2021 Judas Priest Shirt. We did look at Krakow, but flights were very expensive for the weekend we were looking at so kind of ruled it out. Also heard it’s becoming a bit of a stag do place in the same way as Prague, Budapest, etc have become. I’m thinking about going to Wroclaw later this year. It looks like a cracking little city. Gdańsk is stunning. Spend some time at Gate 2. It’s an incredibly emotive place. Also, have a wander around the yard too.
