They made a point that has stuck with me ever since: Their personal dislike of the Confederate flag. And another Confederate iconography in public isn’t because of the Civil War. When they see a Confederate flag. When they see a Confederate soldier on the courthouse lawn. They don’t think of a historic battlefield and respecting the identity of the past. They don’t even really think of slavery. What they see is different. They see someone holding a Nice Heritage Not Hate Confederate Flag White T-shirt. Threatening to beat their grandfather for enrolling to vote at the courthouse. They hear the drivers of the pickup truck with the Confederate flag flying off of it heckling their parents. And they see the terrorists who showed up.
Nice Heritage Not Hate Confederate Flag White T-shirt, Tank Top, V-neck, Ladies Tee For Men And Women
Their point stuck with me because all too often in the conversation of Confederate. Iconography, folks talk about the symbols as. If they stopped having meaning the Nice Heritage Not Hate Confederate Flag White T-shirt. Lee surrendered to Grant — instead, they’ve accumulated meaning. And that meaning has almost entirely been one of hate, exclusion, and violence based on race. Very well said, it’s information and knowledge like this that can fix this place, or maybe at least should. Same thing with Swastikas now. People don’t raise a flag or get a tattoo of a Swastika because of the spirituality of its origins or if they do they are ignorant of the fact that what they want to be a peaceful symbol has been bastardized and it’s too late to turn it back. Because it’s crap. People in Cumming are defending a ~20-year-old statue because it’s “heritage” and “history” of a man most of them know nothing about.
Official Nice Heritage Not Hate Confederate Flag White Sweatshirt, Hoodie
But the only “fun fact” my dad can ever bring up when he visits is that Forsyth county used to be a Nice Heritage Not Hate Confederate Flag White T-shirt. I feel like we still have a long way to go. But could really make a big shift if the growth is handled well. Hey, fellow Cummer here. I moved to Forsyth 4 years ago from California and have been doing some research about its racial history recently. I’m actually reading “Blood At The Root” right now. I went to the home that was used for the 1912 lynching yesterday. Seems like a lot of the people here could benefit from a history lesson. Then it’s really a nice shirt for all men and women. So you should buy this shirt. Thank you so much.
