In fact, it was a thread about Israeli violence. In which I said Hamas probably wouldn’t rocket them in such frequency if Israel didn’t practice aggressive expansionism. It took me about half a year to get that reason for a ban btw. And I only ever got it because I got talking to a mod in a completely different sub. He ignored me again once I asked him to explain how that is inciting Irish republican violence. Well, if we’re using personal anecdotes, lemme say that I got banned off of Ireland for telling them not to hate English people and that we should be united in despising the British government.

They’re a bunch of racist scumbags. The stated reason isn’t that I’m Irish, sure. But the stated reason makes zero sense and when challenged they resume ignoring or defending their decision. And it’s not an isolated case with people from Ireland on that subreddit. These nonsensical bans have happened to many more Irish folk, including in this thread. And more that I know of who are regular posters on this sub. If they want to come forward they can do so. I’ll accept my ban with no complaints if they can come up with an actual rule I supposedly broke.

They said I was advocating or inciting Irish republican violence. Let them quote me on that. I’ve previously asked them when discussing this to paste the comment that got me banned, and when I do they go all silent. Give me a reason. Until then I’ll assume the worst for myself and the rest of the Irish folk here who have had perm bans for little to absolute zero reasons.
