The point of the matter is, that on Kickstarter, the culture of the backers there is to favor the “rarest” or “most complete” edition. I feel like the only reason “pre-painted” minis haven’t become the newest “deluxe” standard, is that generally there’s a quality control problem. I’d be very interested in learning what Official Cells Of The Immune System Shirt. The fact they keep offering it suggests to me that it has done very well for them. I splurged on Sundrop for Tainted Grail: I really like it. The quality control actually seems pretty good (though I know earlier attempts were lacking). The switch to a sepia-toned wash makes a massive difference compared to earlier efforts that I’ve seen. I know that I could probably get similar results doing a zenithal prime and wash, but I really don’t have that kind of time, as much as I’d like to. The results on TG were enough to make me get it for Etherfields too. A chance to add it when the manager reopens.
