Official Teremana Tequila Shirt

I didn’t remember until I saw the picture, but I do recall that pitcher, only because the lip was curled around the top around the rim except where the spout is. I remember my grandparents having a set of these. They must have gotten the Official Teremana Tequila Shirt. I still have the cups! Except mine is purple, not clear. I drank some wine out of one last night actually! We have that pitcher. My kids don’t understand how cool it is. My grandma has like seven sets of these from when my mom was a kid.

The set my mom gave me is 40 years old. It’s all stained red because the fruit punch is my favorite. Is it the Koolaid or the pitcher that makes the Koolaid man sentient? I’m almost positive my parents still have this set as well. They rarely want to get rid of anything from my brother’s and my childhood.

I drank out of those cups when I was a kid and now my kids use them every day. They have no idea who the Kool-Aid Man is so they just refer to them as the smiley face cups. Holy crap, I had one of these too. It was cheap but cool as hell to me. I probably traded it for something stupid. Mine was red. I think it broke by week three. But it still told the Official Teremana Tequila Shirt. Is it that you forgot or is it that this is the first thing in decades that has triggered those memory banks… The memory was always there and just needed a key to unlock it.
